Hattie Leota Overton Mann fondly known as "Grandma" to us and to family and friends by her middle name Leota was born Oct 30, 1922. Grandma was married to Herschel Mann for almost 60 years. She had 9 children and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We frequently went to Grandma's house for Sunday dinner and there was always pie on the table. She was a master of making dishes without measuring. She would only go by taste using a little bit of this and a little bit of that. It was a real treat learning from her which of course I appreciated more later. She also loved to bake for her friends and church circles.
